Scott Zieher is co-owner of the New York City contemporary art gallery ZieherSmith (est. 2003). He was the winner of the Emergency Press 2004 annual contest for his book-length poem, VIRGA, published in 2005. His second book-length poem, IMPATIENCE was also published by Emergency Press in September, 2009. A book of found photography BAND OF BIKERS was published by powerHouse books in February, 2010. His poetry has appeared in The Believer, Jubilat, The Iowa Review, LABmag, The Siennese Shredder, and KNOCK Magazine. He has lived and worked in New York City since 1992. He was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
