He will be featured as the Keynote Speaker for this year’s Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books at 7 pm Friday, Nov.4, in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha’s Commons Hub. The program is free and open to the public. Tabak will speak and be in conversation with UWM at Waukesha’s History Professor Jonathan Kasparek.

Would You Like to Encourage a Young Reader? Here’s Your Chance!

The United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County is collecting books for young readers on Saturday, November 5, at the Festival. Volunteers from the Emerging Leaders Council are in the UWM-Waukesha Library to accept your donation and assist you with wrapping your gift. You can bring a new book or buy a book at the Books & Company booth at the Festival.

Drop your donated book at the Library between  9 am and 11 am  or 1 pm and 3 pm.  Or purchase your book at Books & Company and leave it with Books & Company for a United Way volunteer to pick up.
